Three of the Best Corn Mazes and Agri-Adventures in Atlantic Canada. Harvest time in
Québec and on PEI offers dozens of ways to share screen free family time in pumpkin patches and on hay stacks or in cornfields, and apple orchards.
Here's the scoop. Each location featured below offers families unique ways to connect with the planet from traditional hay rides and new age maze quests to sugar shack yummies and freshly squeezed apple cider. Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot, Le Verger Labonté in Québec (late August - November). Families looking for festive fun this autumn, should check out Le Verger Labonté near Montreal. There are three mazes each tailored to different age groups. For more than a decade Verger Labonté has created mazes in the cornfield. Each year, the theme and layout of the maze changes to provide new challenges.
Visitors are invited to search for clues in the corn and sunflower mazes, picnic, feed farm animals, take tractor rides, and enjoy delicious baked goods and house specialties. In addition, $1 of each entry fee goes towards humanitarian organizations to contribute to the well-being of the less fortunate.

La Magie de la Pomme Saint-Eustache, Québec (September - mid-October). At the Ferme Roch Dubeault & Fils, a family farm in Saint-Eustache for six generations, families can discover a real-life sugar shack, an orchard, cereal fields, and more than 100 varieties of pumpkin and squash. Other activities include train rides, tractor-pulled hayrides, wagon rides, face painting and a petting zoo. Arlington Orchards, Prince Edward Island (September). Arlington Orchards has over 30 acres of fruit trees, and apples of 31 different varieties, four varieties of pears, and seven varieties of plums. Arlington Orchards is a family orientated U-Pick operation, offering families the chance to stroll through the orchards, pick their own fruit and on weekends take an orchard hayride. In October there's a pumpkin patch, hayrides and face painting.
